The Group has an office in London. PA Resources has interests in two offshore UK exploration licences and is the operator for both of them. Work is ongoing analysing seismic data to evaluate the different areas' potential.
Seismic study in 2011
PA Resources has conducted a small 2D seismic survey in the autumn of 2011 in the Inner Moray Firth on Licence P1342 (Block 17/4b). The survey was acquired over a limited area, for a short duration and with sound sources considerably smaller than typical marine seismic surveys. Comprehensive environmental impact studies have been undertaken and mitigation measures was put in place to ensure that the environmental impact of this operation was reduced to a minimum.
